Revolutionary kitchen design: SHD showcases the next generation of software at area30

October 2, 2024

ANDERNACH, September 30, 2024 – area30 is Germany's foremost trade fair for all those involved in the kitchen industry. Once again, area30 in Löhne attracted a large number of visitors from Germany, other European countries and beyond, thanks to the many quality exhibitors and brands. A pioneer in digitalisation, SHD presented its cutting-edge software solutions to a wide audience of professionals and introduced the latest innovations in the KPS.MAX Suite for kitchen design and visualisation.

KPS.MAX vision

An impressive large-format video wall was the centrepiece of the SHD stand. Visitors were able to experience living kitchens first-hand on the video wall, from kitchen design to visualisation using VR glasses. The interactive content of KPS.MAX vision provided a practical insight into the potential applications of the technology. In addition, the video wall provided an exciting glimpse of future developments and clearly demonstrated that SHD is at the forefront of digitalisation.

A multitude of further innovations in the KPS.MAX Suite

In KPS.MAX version 4.0, the KPS.MAX Suite provides new and improved features for increased efficiency and intuitive operation to create even more precise kitchen designs. Identifying design errors at an early stage on a new level is made possible by the innovative ATAK integration for kitchens from Nobilia and Pino. CRM to go: visitors to the SHD trade fair stand were able to experience KPS.MAX manage, a web-based tool for mobile access to all customer and company figures. KPS.MAX web next level optimises online kitchen design and lead generation by creating various inspirational suggestions for the end customer. An additional focus is on linking the SHD merchandise management systems MHS and SHD ECORO to the SHD design systems in order to effectively support work processes.

A showcase for the SHD subsidiaries

The appearance of hey.kitchen GmbH in cooperation with SHD was yet another highlight at the trade fair. Their revolutionary business model as a software provider focuses on digital logistics solutions to bring about sustainable change in the kitchen and furniture industry. Managing Directors Oliver Brandt, Christian Lenzhölzer and Sales Manager Michèl Fink answered numerous questions regarding their installation software and the new marketplace, which acts as a central platform connecting dealers and fitters throughout Germany. SHD subsidiary simar presented the latest developments in its KIMS merchandise management solution to the Dutch audience. SimarScan ensures that you never lose an item from the warehouse again, turning chaos into order through order management. The improved and easy to use MyKitchen web app will keep customers updated specifically for kitchens.
