This year, area30 once again proved to be the core of the kitchen industry. Running until 21 September, the trade fair offered exhibitors active in design, kitchen and technology the opportunity to present their highlights in the centre of the East Westphalian kitchen mile. SHD AG was also in attendance, which met with overwhelming interest and excited visitors with the innovations of its cloud-capable kitchen planning solution KPS.MAX.
With an impressive exhibition area of over 12,000 square metres and boasting more than 200 exhibitors and brands on site, the popular trade and order fair area30 2023 had its largest event to date. All visitors were treated to an outstanding business event, which, in addition to the extensive booking level, placed a particular focus on knowledge transfer this year. In the newly created “innovation area”, the SHD Group enriched the trade fair with three lectures with ground-breaking content for the future.
“To us, area30 is an eagerly awaited trade fair highlight every year. There are excellent opportunities to enter into dialogue with customers and interested parties and to set the technical course for the future. During the 6-day trade fair, we recorded a vast flow of visitors to our 80 m2 stand, which generated enthusiasm and top class advice thanks to its well-thought-out design,” says Stefan Hoffmann, Sales Manager at SHD Kreative Planning-Systeme GmbH. The success of the extensive trade fair preparations was particularly evident in the high demand for switching to KPS.MAX and the extremely positive response to this year’s key topics: in particular, the incredible quality of our further developed HQ rendering impressed visitors. The interested audience was also impressed when we demonstrated the seamless connection between KPS.MAX and the SHD ERP systems. We also presented the smartphone mode of the online kitchen configurator KPS.MAX web and the new CRM solution KPS.MAX manage. These serve the mobile retrieval of customer and planning data.
As a further highlight, hey.kitchen GmbH, in cooperation with SHD, presented how it is revolutionising the kitchen and furniture industry with its new business model as a software provider through digital logistics solutions. With great enthusiasm, General Manager Christian Lenzhölzer and Sales Manager Michèl Fink answered the numerous questions about their assembly software and the newly established marketplace. This acts as an interface between dealers and fitters and enables nationwide, digital and easy collaboration with new contacts and partnerships.
The SHD subsidiary simar automatisering bv presented the innovations to its KIMS ERP system and its connection to the kitchen planning solution KPS.MAX to the Dutch audience. General Manager Thierry ten Hove and Product Manager Rob Marcus were also happy about the networking opportunity at the trade fair.
This year, area30 was once again the focus of the in-house and trade fair landscape and once again ensured a great track record for SHD AG. A special thank you goes to the sales team at SHD Kreative Planning-Systeme GmbH, whose professional and open-minded appearance made a significant contribution to the success of the trade fair.
