ANDERNACH, 14 October 2022 - hey.kitchen GmbH launches its kitchen and furniture installation app to an enthusiastic reception. SHD AG has acquired a majority stake in hey.kitchen GmbH in Lindlar and is continuing to successfully expand its growth strategy in the furniture and kitchen industry.
hey.kitchen GmbH was founded by Oliver Brandt and Christian Lenzhölzer on 9 September 2019. The two are still involved in the company and will continue in the future to be responsible for the further development and marketing of the IT solutions as general managers of this highly innovative company located near Cologne.
The young business launched its software solution hey.kitchen+, which specialises in the delivery and installation of kitchens, to great acclaim from the kitchen and furniture trade. The web-based application digitalises the entire process of kitchen installation and furniture supply. The modern app makes it easy to schedule upcoming orders - and both the company's own fitters and partners have the information and tasks directly on their smartphone or tablet. The complete installation process can now be viewed by all participants from anywhere and at any time. And not only that, all information and reports on delivery, installation and complaints are also created intuitively and straightforwardly via the simple installation app. It's all available, no paperwork and no queries. More order and automated steps make workflows much more efficient and save valuable time and costs.
The hey.kitchen+ app was also closely integrated into the KPS design solutions in a remarkably short time - a win-win situation for the specialist retailer and their fitters. The retailer receives all the information concerning the installation from the app into their professional design tool or the connected enterprise resource planning system, as part of a fully automated process, while the fitters benefit from a greater overview and more transparency during the installation process.
SHD AG views the new subsidiary's product and service portfolio as a strategic complementary product. The attention generated at the first joint trade fair appearance at area30 in Löhne was extremely high and the feedback from interested parties overwhelmingly positive.
